Lemon Rice & Orzo Pilaf
- 2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup orzo
- 1/2 cup rice
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 salt & pepper to taste
- Boil chicken broth and water in medium saucepan.
- Stir in orzo, rice, zest & basil.
- Return to boiling for about 2 minutes.
- Lower heat and simmer until liquids are absorbed.
- Stir in butter.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.
