Mapo Tofu with Onions

  1. Finely chop the onion, and stir-fry it well in a frying pan.
  2. Add the ground pork and stir-fry.
  3. To make the miso sauce: Dissolve the miso in mirin, then add the other ingredients marked with to make the sauce.
  4. Add the cubed tofu and miso sauce to the frying pan and bring to a boil.
  5. Add the katakuriko dissolved in water to thicken the sauce.
  6. There's not much water in the sauce, so add a little to adjust the consistency.
