Masoor Dal Soup
- 1 tablespoon masoor dal
- 1 potato
- 1 carrot
- 1 tablespoon butter
- salt
- 1 pinch basil
- 1 pinch marjoram
- water
- who wants can add bouillon or chicken broth
- Melt the butter in a pot, add finely chopped carrot, potato and roast them for a minute.
- Add water (with Bouillon or add broth), add masoor dal, which was soaked for half hour.
- (Drain the water in which dal was soaked.)
- Season with salt, add marjoram and basil and cook vegetables till soft.
