Apple Streusel Cake Recipe
- 1 1/3 c. All Purpose Flour
- 1 c. Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 1/4 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Baking Pwdr
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Grnd Cinnamon
- 1/2 c. Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 c. Honey
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 x Large eggs
- 5 c. Apples, coarsely diced
- 1/2 c. Minced Nuts
- 2 Tbsp. All Purpose Flour
- 2 Tbsp. Butter, softened
- 5 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- Preheat the oven to 350F degrees.
- Grease and flour a 13x9-inch pan.
- In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except nuts, apples, the 2 Tbsp.
- flour, the 2 Tbsp.
- butter, the 5 Tbsp.
- sugar, and the 1 tsp.
- cinnamon.
- Mix, at low speed using an electric mixer, till moistened; beat 2 min at medium speed.
- Stir in the nuts and apples by hand.
- Spread the batter in the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl mix the 2 Tbsp.
- flour, the 2 Tbsp.
- butter, the 5 Tbsp.
- sugar, and the 1 tsp.
- cinnamon to create a crumb mix and top the batter with it.
- Bake at 350F degrees for 40 to 50 min, or possibly till a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Serve hot or possibly cold.
