Easy Homemade Ponzu Sauce
- 100 ml All-Purpose Japanese Sauce. You can use store-bought soy sauce and mentsuyu as well.
- 50 ml Mirin
- 50 ml Citrus juice (yuzu, kabosu, lemon etc)
- 1/2 tbsp each Soy sauce and vinegar (if you like a strongly flavored sauce)
- Juice the citrus.
- I used kabosu this time.
- You can use bottled lemon juice instead.
- Add all the other ingredients to the citrus juice, and that's it!
- The sauce is a little too light to use with hot pots so I added the soy sauce and vinegar to compensate.
- Please adjust the ingredients to your taste.
- If you add vinegar, you can keep the sauce for a long time in the refrigerator, so I recommend it.
