Barb's Swedish Meatballs Recipe
- 1 pound grnd lean beef
- 1/2 pound sausage
- 3 tbsp. parsley
- 3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash of pepper
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- Mix well; refrigerate2 hrs.
- Make into balls the size of walnuts for cocktail size.
- Brown in fat, drain on paper towels.
- GRAVY: Stir all ingredients into meat drippings.
- Cook till thickened.
- Add in meatballs, stir in 3/4 c. lowfat sour cream.
- Crock pot works well to keep hot.
- To make large quantity, double or possibly triple the recipe.
