Low-Fat Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Sunsweet Lighter Bake
- 2 tbsp. margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2-1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Coat baking sheets with vegetable cooking spray; set aside.
- In mixing bowl, beat together sugars, Lighter Bake, margarine, egg, water, and vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Stir into Lighter Bake mixture.
- Stir in chocolate pieces.
- Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake 8 to 9 minutes.
- Cool on racks.
