LG SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN (ASIAN STYLE COOKING )
- 10 chicken thigh strip
- 2 cup corn starch
- 5 tbsp heinz tomato sauce
- 5 tbsp heinz chili sauce
- 2 tbsp sherry wine vineger or any vineger
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch diluted with 2tbsp of water
- 3 small cucumber
- 1 medium carrot
- 3 small onion
- 2 deseeded red chili pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 dash pepper
- MARINATE CHICKEN OR PORK
- marinate chicken strip for 5 minute
- CHICKEN
- on a bowl with cornstarch dip marinated chicken strip then deep fry till lightly brown and cooked about 3 minute or longer depending on the thickness and size of the chicken strip
- SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE
- in pan with 1 tbsp of oil saute carrot and onion and red chili pepper for 2 minute
- add sweet and sour sauce and bring it to a boil and then add ( cornstarch diluted water ) mix well and off heat
- add cooked deep fried chicken strip and cucumber and toass around and coat well then serve immediately
- sweet and sour chicken serve with white rice
