Momma's Apple pie pancakes
- 1 granny smith apple
- 2/3 cup pancake mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- pinch ground nutmeg
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 caramel syrup
- 1 eggs
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- Heat pan to medium low ( you want it lower than you usually would when making pancakes so they take linger to cook and the apple gets a chance to start cooking(
- Add milk and chia seeds to mixing bowl
- Chop apple into 1/4 inch cubes
- Add apple to the mixing bowl
- Add the rest of the ingredients besides the caramel syrup to the mixing bowl and mix thoroughly
- Cook as you usually would.
- They will take longer to cook than usual because of cooking at a lower temperature
- Drizzle caramel syrup over them and enjoy!
