Banana Blondies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Butter a nine-inch-square baking pan.
  3. Cream butter, add sugar and beat in egg.
  4. Stir in banana puree.
  5. Stir in whole wheat and white flour and baking soda.
  6. Add vanilla.
  7. Add chocolate chips and walnuts and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool before cutting into squares.
