Easy Bitter Matcha Gateau au Chocolat
- 1 Matcha chocolate bar
- 100 ml Milk
- 40 grams Butter
- 20 grams Sugar
- 50 ml Heavy cream
- 200 grams Pancake mix
- 10 grams Matcha
- 1 Walnuts
- 1 to decorate Matcha
- 1 to decorate Heavy cream
- Finely break the chocolate and combine with the milk.
- Microwave for a minute to melt and mix.
- Combine the softened butter and sugar.
- Add the mixture from Step 1 and heavy cream.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Combine the dry ingredients and sift into the bowl of ingredients from Step 2.
- Mix well.
- Also add the finely minced walnuts.
- Grease a cake pan with butter and pour in the mixture.
- Tap the bottom on a flat surface to remove air bubbles.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in a 170C oven.
- Let it cool without removing from the pan.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of matcha on top.
- Top with softly whipped matcha cream.
