Mexican Style Penne
- 7 ounces, fluid Penne Pasta
- 1/2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1 Tablespoon Taco Seasoning
- 2 ounces, fluid Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cups Salsa
- 1/4 cups Taco Sauce
- 1/4 cups Colby Jack Cheese
- 3/4 cups Cheddar Cheese
- 1/4 cups Sour Cream, To Serve
- Cook the penne in salted water until almost done, about 8-12 minutes.
- Drain and return to the pot.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain, and return to the skillet.
- Mix in the taco seasoning, then add the cream cheese.
- Continue to stir until melted and creamy.
- Add the beef mixture into the pasta and mix together.
- Pour the salsa into the bottom of a 9 round baking pan and move around until it is evenly coated.
- Pour the pasta mixture on top.
- You can choose to mix it together or not, it doesnt matter.
- Pour the taco sauce over the top and then finish it off the cheeses.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.
- Since all the ingredients are already cooked, the point is to it heat through and melt the cheeses.
- Serve with sour cream.
