Kaptainkirk's Super Bowl Chili
- 3 -4 lbs ground turkey
- 1 onion, cut into rings, then into 1/4s
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 5 garlic cloves, diced
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 4 tablespoons chili powder (or more to tast)
- 14 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 12 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 (24 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (24 ounce) can black beans
- 1 (24 ounce) can red beans
- 1 (24 ounce) can chili beans
- 1 (24 ounce) can pinto beans
- 1 (6 ounce) can serrano peppers
- 1 (32 ounce) can tomato juice
- Fry the ground turkey down to where there is no juice, and the turkey is browning.
- Add garlic powder and onion powder, and plenty of chili powder.
- Add turkey and other ingredients into 2.5 to 3 gallon pot- with lid.
- Place lid on pot and place into oven at 245 degrees.
- Stir and taste hourly.
- May need to add chili powder to enhance taste.
- Use the tomato juice to liquify the chili is too dry.
