Asian Pork BBQ Sandwiches
- Asian BBQ Sauce
- 1-1/2 qt. OPEN PIT Original Restaurant Recipe Barbecue Sauce
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 6 Tbsp. green onions, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp. gingerroot, grated
- 1-1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- Pork Mixture
- 3/4 cup garlic, minced
- 6 Tbsp. oil
- 1-1/2 gal. pulled cooked pork
- 4-1/2 cups red bell peppers, julienned Target 1 pkg For $2.99 thru 02/06
- 3 cups snow peas, julienned
- 2 cups green onions, chopped
- 24 each potato sandwich rolls, split, toasted
- 1-1/2 cups fresh basil, chiffonade
- Asian BBQ Sauce: Mix all ingredients in saucepan.
- Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 2 min., stirring frequently.
- Pork Mixture: Saute garlic in hot oil in large saucepan 1 min.
- Add Asian BBQ Sauce and all remaining ingredients except basil and rolls; cook 2 to 3 min.
- or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- For each serving: Fill 1 roll with 3/4 cup Pork Mixture and 1 Tbsp.
