Butter Sauteed Oysters with Oyster Sauce
- 18 to 20 Shucked oysters
- 1 Katakuriko
- 20 grams Butter
- 1 piece Ginger (grated)
- 2 clove Garlic (grated)
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tbsp Sake
- Clean the oysters (see Hints) and pat dry with paper towels.
- Dust the oysters lightly with katakuriko.
- Make the sauce.
- Combine the ingredients in a bowl.
- Heat the butter in a frying pan.
- Add the oysters and saute them over medium heat until lightly browned on both sides.
- When the oysters are cooked through, add the sauce from Step 2.
- Simmer briefly over high heat and it's done.
