Butter Sauteed Oysters with Oyster Sauce

  1. Clean the oysters (see Hints) and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Dust the oysters lightly with katakuriko.
  3. Make the sauce.
  4. Combine the ingredients in a bowl.
  5. Heat the butter in a frying pan.
  6. Add the oysters and saute them over medium heat until lightly browned on both sides.
  7. When the oysters are cooked through, add the sauce from Step 2.
  8. Simmer briefly over high heat and it's done.
