Mexican-Style Beer Nuts

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Combine nuts and lime juice in large skillet.
  2. Add beer; stir.
  3. Bring to boil on medium-high heat.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 min., stirring occasionally.
  5. Drain nuts; place in medium bowl.
  6. Add sugar; toss to coat.
  7. Spread onto parchment-covered baking sheet.
  8. Bake 20 to 25 min.
  9. or until nuts are dried and lightly browned.
  10. Sprinkle nuts with lime peel and salt; toss to coat.
  11. Cool completely.
  12. Store in airtight container at room temperature.
