Easy Simmered Daikon Radish and Soft Boiled Eggs

  1. Roughly chop the daikon radish and parboil it in the microwave.
  2. See.
  3. Soft boil the eggs and peel.

  5. Put all the ingredients except for the eggs in a saucepan and let simmer for 13 minutes over low to medium heat.
  6. Add the eggs and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Finally, turn the heat to high to glaze.
  8. Slice the eggs in half.
  9. Put the daikon radish and the chikuwa into serving bowls, add the eggs and sprinkle on some green onions.
