Somewhat Italian Tomato Bread
- 410 grams Bread (strong) flour
- 2 tsp Dry yeast
- 240 ml Tomato juice
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Natural salt
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Skim milk powder
- 1 tsp Dried basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon, freshly ground Black pepper
- Measure the ingredients precisely.
- If the tomato juice is chilled, let it warm to room temperature.
- Place the ingredients into the bread maker and as soon as it has finished baking, remove and place on an oven rack placed on a large plate to cool.
- Once it has cooled completely, use a bread knife to saw the loaf into slices.
- This tastes delicious topped with mozzarella cheese and fresh tomatoes drizzled with olive oil.
