Biscuits To Freeze Recipe
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. shortening
- 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 3/4 c. hot water
- 3/4 c. buttermilk
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- Mix flour, sugar, and shortening; add in dissolved yeast and buttermilk.
- Roll out, cut, and bake at 425 degrees till very light brown.
- Put in bags and freeze.
- When ready to serve, finish browning in oven.
