Brie Cheese Bread Bowl

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees (F).
  2. Begin by cutting the top off of the sourdough round.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Hollow out the sourdough round, saving the bread pieces for dipping later on.
  5. With a pastry brush, brush the olive oil inside the sourdough, making sure to get every nook and cranny.
  6. Sprinkle the garlic powder inside the sourdough seasoning it well.
  7. Fill the sourdough with the cream cheese and brie cheese.
  8. Cover with the top you cut earlier and completely wrap in heavy duty foil.
  9. Bake for 1- 1 1/2 hours or until cheese is hot and bubbly.
  10. Serve with sliced baggette pieces and bread pieces that were hollowed out.
  11. Run out of bread?
  12. No problem, just start breaking the bread bowl apart and devour!
  13. Enjoy!
