Ramen corn and black beans
- 15 1/2 oz can of black beans
- 15 1/2 oz can of whole kernel corn no salt
- 4 oz ramen noodles
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 small green onions, chopped
- Heat oil in pan, open and drain black beans rinse them off
- Open corn drain and save liquids set aside
- Add corn and beans to pan with oil let fry for 3 minutes stirring occasionally
- Add cup of water and noodles spices and liquid of corn let simmer till noodles are cooked and soft
- Take cornstarch and quarter cup of water mix well add to noodles to thicken add peas, garnish with chopped green onion
