Sausages with Onion Sauce
- 10 thick sausages e.g. pork, lamb, beef
- 2 large onions, sliced into rings
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon VEGEMITE
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan and cook sausages and onion until sausages are browned and cooked through.
- Add flour and cook 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in combined water, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce and Vegemite* and heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Spoon sauce over sausages.
- Serve with mashed potatoes and green vegetables.
