Microwave Chocolate Pie

  1. Stir together cornstarch, sugar and cocoa.
  2. Add cold milk. Do not stir.
  3. Put in microwave and cook 3 minutes on High.
  4. Then stir to mix well.
  5. Return to the microwave for 5 more minutes on High.
  6. Remove and stir well to blend.
  7. Beat about 1/3 of the mixture slowly into the 3 beaten egg yolks, until they look chocolaty and are steaming.
  8. Return the yolk mixture to the remaining filling and mix well.
  9. Cook on High 2 minutes.
  10. Remove and stir.
  11. Add margarine and vanilla.
  12. Mix well.
  13. Pour into the cooked shell.
  14. Beat egg whites with 2 or 3 tablespoons sugar and brown at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
