Widows Kiss
- 1 1/2 ounces Daron Fine calvados
- 1 1/4 ounces Yellow Chartreuse
- 1 1/4 ounces Benedictine
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 lemon twist, for garnish
- Pour the calvados, Chartreuse, Benedictine, and bitters into a mixing glass.
- Add large cold ice cubes and stir for 40 revolutions.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with the lemon twist.
- Dominant Flavors: sweet herbal bouquet
- Body: high alcohol with heavy syrupy mouthfeel
- Dryness: off-dry to sweet
- Complexity: high, forceful
- Accentuating or Contrasting Flavors: big herb bomb
- Finish: long, honey with citrus oil overtones
- Glass: cocktail
