Candy Covered Peanut Butter Bars
- 1 roll refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough (16.5 oz.)
- 34 cup butter, softened
- 12 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 14 cup whipping cream
- 12 cup M&M'
- Heat oven to 350F In ungreased 13x9 in pan, break up cookie dough and press evenly in the bottom of the pan to make a crust.
- Bake 12 minutes or until starting to brown.
- Let cool completely for about 30 minutes.
- In medium bowl, beat 1/2 cup of the butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Spread mixture over crust.
- In saucepan, melt chocolate chips and remaining 1/4 cup butter over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and cool about 10 minutes.
- Stir whipping cream into chocolate mixture and mix until well blended.
- Sprinkle M&M's on top.
- Refrigerate about an hour or until chocolate is set before serving.
