Baked French Toast With Pineapple Cheese Topping Recipe
- 8 ounce Can Sliced Pineapple
- 8 ounce Pkg. Cream Cheese
- 1/4 c. Confectioners Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1/3 c. Orange Juice
- 3/8 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 lb Loaf Texas Toast
- Place all topping ingredients in blender or possibly processor and pulse till only small chunks of pineapple remain.
- Cover and chill till ready to use.
- Whisk toast ingredients, except bread, in a flat dish till well blended.
- Dip bread slices into egg mix coating well on both sides.
- Arrange on a cookie sheet which has been lightly greased.
- Bake at 425 15 to 20 min, turning slices over half way thru time.
- Serve warm with pineapple cheese topping.
- TO PREPARE AHEAD; Prepare as directed above; cover pan and chill for up to 12 hrs.
