Moms Best Ever Meatloaf
- 1 whole Egg, Slightly Beaten
- 23 cups Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 cup Crushed Unsalted Soda Crackers (crumbs)
- 1 whole Small Onion, Chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground Sage
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Parsley Flakes
- 1 pound Each Ground Beef And Ground Pork
- 1/4 cups Ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Yellow Mustard
- In a large bowl, combine egg, milk, Worcestershire, crackers, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, sage, and parsely.
- Add ground beef and ground pork and mix well.
- Put the meat mixture into a ungreased square 8x8 glass baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard together and mix well.
- Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake uncovered in a 375 degrees F oven for 1 hour.
- Slice and serve.
- Note: I like to bake this meatloaf in a square pan.
- I find that it takes less time to bake than in a loaf pan.
