Black Bean Turkey Burgers on Pretzel Buns with Avocado Mayo
- 1 pound Lean Ground Turkey
- 1 teaspoon Dried Onion Flakes
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Taco Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoons Cumin
- 1/2 teaspoons Corriander
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Black Beans, Drained And Rinsed
- 1/4 cups Fresh Cilantro, Chopped
- 1 whole Jalapeno, Diced And Seeded
- 4 slices Provolone Cheese
- 1 whole Avocado, Peeled And Pitted
- 1/4 cups Mayonnaise
- 1/2 whole Lime, Juiced
- 1 pinch Kosher Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Fresh Cilantro
- 4 whole Pretzel Hamburger Buns
- Heat your grill to medium heat.
- In a large bowl mix together ground turkey with seasonings, black beans, chopped cilantro and diced jalapeno.
- Form into 4 even sized burger patties.
- Put patties onto the hot grill.
- Cook patties for 8-10 minutes per side.
- With about 1 minute before you remove them from the grill, place 1 slice of provolone cheese on each patty, close the grill and allow it to melt.
- Remove them from the grill to a clean plate.
- In a food processor, blend avocado, mayo, lime juice, salt and minced cilantro.
- Set mayo aside.
- Toast pretzel buns using your preferred method.
- Spread avocado mayo on both cut sides of the bun and set burger between.
- You can serve with tomato and lettuce if you would like.
