Friar Flip
- 1 ounce yellow Chartreuse
- 1/2 ounce Bonal Gentiane-Quina (fortified, slightly bitter aperitif wine)
- 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
- 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 4 dashes of Bittermens Xocolatl Mole bitters
- Pinch of salt
- 1 large egg
- Ice
- Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
- In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients except ice and the garnish and shake vigorously.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake again.
- Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with the nutmeg.
