Smokin Good Pizza
- 1 loaf Frozen White Bread Dough, Thawed
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 whole Onion, Halved And Sliced
- 4 ounces, weight Sliced White Mushrooms
- 8 ounces, weight Skinless Smoked Sausage, Cut Into Quarter Inch Slices.
- 6 ounces, weight Jar Jalapeno Jelly (Homemade By Your Sister-in-Law Is The Best)
- 4- 1/4 ounces, weight Sliced Black Olives
- 5 ounces, weight Gorgonzola Cheese Crumbles
- 1 sprig Rosemary Leaves, Chopped
- 16 ounces, weight Whole Milk Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Press thawed bread dough onto a nonstick pizza pan.
- No need to let rise.
- Melt butter in a medium-sized skillet.
- Add onions.
- Cook until translucent and slightly caramelized.
- Remove and place in a small bowl.
- Add mushrooms to the same pan.
- Add more butter if needed.
- Cook until slightly browned.
- Remove and add to another bowl.
- Add sliced smoked sausage into same skillet.
- Cook until well heated.
- Remove.
- Spread jalapeno jelly on the bread dough.
- Top with caramelized onions, gorgonzola crumbles, mushrooms, black olives, smoked sausage and just a few diced rosemary leaves, and top it all with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 400 degrees in the middle rack for 20 to 25 minutes.
