Polish Tuna Melt Sandwich
- 12 ounces canned tuna, drained
- 14 cup red onion, diced
- 4 large green olives, garlic stuffed and diced (we like Mezzetta)
- 12 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon pepperoncini juice
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 12 slices Italian bread
- Preheat broiler.
- Mix first 5 ingredients in a bowl.
- Taste and adjust as desired.
- Spead tuna mixture on 6 slices of bread and cover with cheese slices.
- Spread a little mayo on other 6 slices.
- Place all 12 slices on a baking pan and broil until cheese is melted and starting to brown.
