Chocolate Drizzled Cherry Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine all crumb mixture ingredients in bowl.
  3. Beat at low speed until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Reserve 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture; press remaining crumb mixture oto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  5. Bake 15-20 minutes or until edges are very lightly browned.
  6. Combine all filling ingredients in same bowl.
  7. Spread filling over hot, partially baked crust; sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
  8. Continue baking 27-32 minutes or until lightly browned.
  9. Melt chocolate chips and shortening in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring often, 2-3 minutes or until smooth.
  10. Drizzle over bars.
  11. Cool completely; cut into bars.
