Sabzi Spinach
- 1 bunch of green onions
- 1 tbsp finelly chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 pinch dry dill
- 1 packages frozen spinach
- 1 pinch paprika
- 1 pinch cumin
- 1 pinch coriander
- 1 can of vegetable broth, bouillon powder or cubes
- 1 handfull of shredded parmessan cheese (optional)
- In a saucepan, put the oil to medium heat.
- Meanwhile, wash the green onions and chop them, also chop the garlic and the cilantro.
- Add everything to the oil once hot.
- Once everything is cooked, transparent like, add the frozen spinach and continue to cook.
- Turn around spinach every 5 minutes to continue to cook until it is no longer frozen.
- Once spinach is ready and mixed with the other vegetables, add the spices.
- Mix well and put the broth to stop the frying.
- Cook until water is almost all evaporated and turn off the stove top.
- Let stand for five minutes before serving.
- You can add shredded parmessan cheese on top if you wish.
- Very good recipe, healthy, light and nutricious!
- A good friend of mine made it for me once and I always make it since then, my kids love it with cheese on top!
