Southern Comfort Coney Sauce
- 1 12 lbs ground chuck
- 1 large onion, diced fine
- 1 jalapeno pepper, diced (optional)
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 4 ounces Southern Comfort (2 shots)
- 2 teaspoons beef bouillon powder
- 2 teaspoons tony chachere's creole seasoning
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Then place in a large sauce pan and simmer on medium covered for one hour.
- If a thicker sauce is desired remove lid and simmer another 15 minutes.
