Mozzarella turkey burgers

  1. In a small bowl, combine ground turkey and sesame sauce.
  2. Portion the meat into 4 equal burgers.
  3. Roll the meat into a ball.
  4. With your thumb, create a well in the center of the ball.
  5. Place 1 portion of the cheese into the middle and fold the meat over the top.
  6. Seal the edges so no cheese is exposed.
  7. Flatten slightly to for a patty that will fit in a bun.
  8. Heat a saute pan over medium - high heat.
  9. Cook the burgers letting them for a crust on bottom.
  10. Flip and sear the other side.
  11. Add a lid, reduce heat to medium and let finish cooking (internal temp: 165).
  12. While burgers are cooking, toast buns and prepare toppings.
