Red Cabbage and Sausage

  1. Shread the red cabbage.
  2. Chop the apple and the onion.
  3. Melt the butter in a large skillet.
  4. Saute the apple and the onion until limp.
  5. Stir in the vinegar, sugar and salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Bury the sausages.
  7. Cover the pan, and simmer for 45 minutes, or put in a 350-degree oven for 45 minutes.
