Easy and Fluffy Okonomiyaki
- 150 grams Flour (cake flour)
- 150 ml Water
- 6 leaves Cabbage
- 1/3 block Tofu
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Green onions
- 1 Tempura crumbs
- 1 Beni shouga red pickled ginger
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 dash Pepper
- 1 Dashi stock granules
- 8 slice Thinly sliced pork belly
- 1 Okonomiyaki sauce
- 1 Aonori
- 1 Bonito flakes or bonito powder
- 1 Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Vegetable oil
- Chop the cabbage.
- Whisk flour and water in a bowl.
- Add eggs, tofu, green onions, and all ingredients.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Add the chopped cabbage into the flour mixture.
- Stir lightly.
- Grease a an electric griddle.
- Pour the batter into a round shape.
- Top with pork belly and green onions.
- Cook lightly until both sides are golden brown.
- Top with okonomiyaki sauce, bonito powder, and aonori seaweed.
- Enjoy!
- Also serve with mayonnaise if you'd like.
