Dutch Apple Salad

  1. In a small saucepan, combine flour and sugar.
  2. Whisk the egg and the milk, stir into flour mixture until smooth.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.
  4. Transfer to a small bowl; cover and refrigerate until chilled.
  5. Just before serving, combine the apples and celery in a large salad bowl.
  6. Drizzle with dressing; gently toss to coat.
  7. Sprinkle with grapes and walnuts.
