Holiday Buffet Recipe
- 1/2 c. minced onions
- 1/4 c. diced green pepper
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 1/4 lbs. grnd beef
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 c. catsup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk
- 2 (3 ounce.) Packages cream cheese
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (8 ounce.) Packages noodles
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- Cook onions and green pepper in butter in large skillet till onions are transparent.
- Add in beef, stir till browned.
- Add in soup, catsup, salt, and pepper; simmer for 8 min, stirring occasionally.
- Blend lowfat milk, cream cheese and lemon juice; add in garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
- Add in cream cheese mix to noodles.
- Spread noodle mix in 8 x 12 inch baking dish.
- Pour beef sauce on top; sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 min.
- Yield: 8 servings.
