Hearty Potato Sauerkraut Soup Recipe
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) mushroom soup
- 1 (16 ounce.) sauerkraut, rinsed & liquid removed
- 1 (8 ounce.) fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 med. potato, cut into cubes
- 2 med. carrots, minced
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 2 stalks celery, minced
- 3/4 pound smoked polish sausage, cut into cubes
- 1/2 c. cooked chicken, minced
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 teaspoon dill weed
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Put all in crockpot.
- Sprinkle 2 crisp fried bacon strips and 2 hard boiled Large eggs on top when done.
