Garlic'n Lemon Roast Chicken

  1. In a large plastic bag or bowl, combine onion and soup mix blended with oil and lemon juice, add chicken.
  2. Close bag and shake or toss in bowl, until chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Cover and marinate in refrigerator, turning occasionaly, 2 hours.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  5. Place chicken and marinade in 13 x 9 inch baking or roasting pan.
  6. Arrange chicken, breast side up, discard bag.
  7. Bake uncovered, basting occasionally, 1 hour and 20 minutes or until meat thermometer reaches 180 degrees.
