Cheddar-Stuffed Meatloaf
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1 pkg. (120 g) Stove Top Lower Sodium Stuffing Mix for Chicken
- 1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup Bull's-Eye Bold Original Barbecue Sauce, divided
- 3/4 cup Kraft Shredded Medium Cheddar Cheese, divided
- 1 tomato, finely chopped Safeway 1 lb For $1.29 thru 02/09
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F
- Add boiling water to stuffing mix in large bowl; stir.
- Cover; let stand 5 min.
- Add meat, egg and 1/4 cup barbecue sauce; mix just until blended.
- Press half onto bottom of 8x4-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray.
- Sprinkle half the cheese down centre of meat mixture in pan; cover with remaining meat mixture, pressing gently into pan to secure.
- Bake 50 min.
- or until done (160 degrees F), brushing with remaining barbecue sauce and topping with remaining cheese for the last 10 min.
- Top with tomatoes.
