Whipped Butter

  1. Put the butter in a bowl and leave at room temperature to soften.
  2. You want it to be soft enough so that you can easily press down with a finger.
  3. Once butter has softened, mix with an electric beater at low speed.
  4. Divide the milk into three portions and pour in, whipping well after each addition.
  5. When you've poured in all the milk, increase the speed to medium and whip until a pale, smooth, and fluffy consistency.
  6. Transfer to a container and chill in the fridge.
  7. Spread the whipped butter with maple syrup on toasted bread.
