Beef Paprikash Recipe
- 1 - 1 1/2 pound sirloin or possibly top round cut Batonnette
- 1 c. onions, minced
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/4 c. paprika
- 1/4 c. red wine
- 1 pt. lowfat sour cream
- 1/2 - 3/4 pound egg noodles
- Sear beef with garlic cloves (sliced), salt and pepper to taste.
- Leave meat rare.
- Remove from pan and set aside.
- To pan add in onions and saute/fry till translucent/soft.
- Add in paprika and red wine.
- Simmer for 2 min.
- Add in lowfat sour cream to pan.
- Return beef to the pan.
- Serve mix on bed of egg noodles.
- Sour dough bread and dinner salad finishing touches.
- Mushrooms may be added to sauce if you like.
