Bean Curd with a Spicy Sauce

  1. Whisk together the sauce ingredients and set aside.
  2. In a wok, saute garlic and ginger.
  3. Add scallions, followed by the tofu.
  4. Cook for a few minutes.
  5. Pour suace over the sauted ingredients.
  6. Mix gently and simmer carefully.
  7. Let the sauce thicken, stirring gently every now and then.
  8. Serve over rice.
