Black Bean Burgers

  1. I like to use a potato masher because I like pieces of whole black beans in my burger.
  2. However, this can all be done in your food processor as well!
  3. In a large bowl, mash beans.
  4. Mix in egg, bread crumbs, spices and diced veggies.
  5. Mix until it comes to gether.
  6. With your clean cooking hands, form into 4 patties.
  7. In a large skillet over medium/high heat, add in oil and fry patties 5 minutes.
  8. Flip and fry for another 3-5 mintues.
  9. Place on your favorite kind of roll and add in your favorite condiments.
  10. I used mashed avocado instead of mayo, salsa instead of ketchup, a slice of pepper jack cheese, sliced red onions and lettuce.
  11. Yum yum yum.
