Roast Dates with Ham

• 10 small pitted California dates
• 5 thin slices Serrano ham (about 1 1/2 ounces), halved lengthwise

1. Preheat the oven to 350.
2. Arrange the dates in a pie plate and bake for about 10 minutes, or until heated through.
3. Wrap the ham around the dates and secure with a toothpick.
4. Serve warm or at room temperature
