Barbecued Indonesian Pork Satay Recipe

  1. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and water; simmer till sugar dissolves.
  2. Increase heat; cook till a syrup forms.
  3. Add in soysauce, molasses, coriander and pepper, simmer 4 min and cold.
  4. Combine mix with onion, garlic, gingerroot, lime juice and Pork.
  5. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 2 hrs.
  6. Soak wooden skewers in water for 15 min.
  7. Thread Pork onto skewers.
  8. Barbecue or possibly broil with low heat 8 to 10 min to medium doneness, basting occasionally with marinade.
  9. Serving Ideas : Serve over rice
