Addictive Indian-style Green Beans Recipe fallingup

  1. Place a large, wide non-stick pan on medium to high heat.
  2. Add olive oil.
  3. When hot, add onions (if using) and cook until golden.
  4. Add green beans.
  5. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Uncover and season with turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, and shredded coconut (if using).
  7. Continue to cook uncovered for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently so that the beans dont burn.
  8. When done, the beans will be dark green and will have reduced considerably.
  9. Remove from heat and serve over rice.
