Spaghetti Italian Meatballs Recipe
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 c. Italian style bread crumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tbsp. dry onion
- 3 tbsp. veg. oil
- Salt & pepper
- First make meat balls.
- Next make tomato sauce.
- Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large saucepan.
- Add in the onion and garlic; saute/fry 5 min.
- Puree the tomatoes in a blender.
- Add in to the onion mix with the tomato paste, water, seasonings and wine.
- Bring to boil and reduce the heat to low.
- Add in the browned meatballs and mushrooms.
- Simmer covered for 1-1 1/2 hrs.
